In an effort to engage Bazzukulu ba Museveni and promote talent, the Office of the National Chairman football team has departed for the Bunyoro Subregion to participate in a friendly soccer match against De’Corporates FC Hoima City.
Scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 4 PM at Bwikya Playgrounds, the match aims to foster a strong relationship with the President’s Bazzukulu in the Bunyoro Subregion, particularly in Hoima City.
On Wednesday, the Manager of ONC, SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, flagged off the 25-member team, including technical staff and players, ahead of today’s travel, as she prepared for the Leadership Summit in Kyankwanzi.
Hajjat Namyalo encouraged the team to represent the office with distinction and challenged them to return victorious from the Oil City.

She also provided a Shs2m cash support to cover match day expenses and urged the technical staff to actively engage the Bazzukulu in Hoima during the event.
This match marks the inaugural engagement of the ONC football team, with Team Manager Luzinda Henry, who is also the Wakiso Region Coordinator at ONC, announcing that more friendlies are planned.
The team aims to connect with Bazzukulu in various parts of the country in the lead-up to the 2026 elections.
