In a bizarre turn of events in Ondo State, Nigeria, a group of suspected kidnappers found themselves in a sleepy predicament as they transported their victims, resulting in a dramatic escape.

According to reports from local authorities, the suspected kidnappers had abducted a pastor’s wife along with two others. However, their plans were foiled when they succumbed to drowsiness induced by the effects of hard drugs they had consumed. The Ondo State Police Command swiftly responded to the situation, confirming the incident and revealing that five suspects were apprehended shortly afterward.

The victims played a crucial role in identifying one of the perpetrators, leading to the arrests of Garuba Mumuni, Yusuf Tale, Kabiru Muhammed, Shaibu Umar, and Adamu Mohammed. The age range of the suspects, between 16 and 27 years old, underscores the involvement of youth in criminal activities.
