The controversial city preacher, James Maina Ng’ang’a, caused a stir at Neno Evangelism Church by coaxing unmarried members of his congregation onto the pulpit and encouraging them to find spouses.

During the service, Ng’ang’a first called for unmarried male congregants to step forward and then invited unmarried female congregants to do the same.

He then instructed the participants to look at each other in hopes of finding suitable partners.

The preacher even offered to hold a special prayer service for those who were still single and advised them to bring an offering.

This was not the first time Ng’ang’a had pressured his congregation to marry, as he issued a stern ultimatum last year, threatening to expel any single members who failed to find partners within six months.

A recently surfaced video shows the preacher parading unmarried members on the pulpit, giving them one last chance to find love within their church community.
