The Joint Anti-Terrorism Task Force, consisting of CMI, ISO, CT, and CI, has launched a serious manhunt for two notorious ADF suspects allegedly involved in a series of terror attacks.

These attacks include using IEDs within the Central Business District of Kampala and Butambala, as well as other terror attacks along the Kasese-Bundibugyo axis with the DRC. The wanted terror suspects aim to murder Ugandans and instil panic and fear within the community.

The police have released the photograph of Kamusi Musa, the current commander of the Splinter ADF cell, formerly led by Kyoto Abdulrashid alias Njovu.

Njovu was apprehended during an aggressive pursuit and firefight by the UPDF Marines and CMI on Lake Edward on November 1, 2023. Two ADF rebels were incapacitated during the exchange, and others, including Kamusi Musa, managed to escape.

The Police’s Counter-terror teams are also actively seeking Habib Sulaiman alias Kijana, involved in various attacks using locally manufactured IEDs in greater Kampala areas. The targeted places are crowded areas deemed as soft targets, including entertainment places, churches, and urban centers.

The public is strongly advised not to approach these two wanted ADF suspects due to their armed and dangerous nature.

Instead, anyone with additional information that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact the National Operations Command Centre at Telephone numbers 0800199699, 0707600773, or 0776999136.

A substantial cash reward of Ugx 20m each awaits any member of the public providing credible information leading to the arrest of the wanted terror suspects.

It is crucial to remind the public that terrorism still exists, and the Counter-terror team is actively conducting urgent inquiries to locate these ADF rebels before they can cause harm to citizens.
