During the multipurpose health workers exam at DAV Public School in Kotkapura, Punjab’s Faridkot, India, a young man was apprehended for disguising himself as a woman to write the test on behalf of his girlfriend.

This incident took place on January 7, 2024, as part of the examination conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

The man, identified as Angrez Singh, from Fazilka, decided to take the exam in his girlfriend’s name, Paramjit Kaur, and therefore, he dressed in feminine attire, complete with bangles, a bindi, lipstick, and a ladies’ suit. To prove that he was Kaur, Singh used fake voter and Aadhaar cards.

However, university officials quickly discovered the deception and reported it to the police, leading to legal action against Singh.

Although the plan seemed to work, his fingerprints did not match those of the candidate, leading to the genuine candidate’s application being declined. This incident serves as an example of a peculiar and bizarre attempt to cheat an educational system.
