Faith of Unity has launched a nationwide mobilization campaign to rally support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni ahead of the 2026 general elections.
The campaign was unveiled during a major gathering at the movement’s headquarters in Kampyemi, Muhooro Town Council, Kagadi District, where thousands of believers and leaders from various intambiro (healing centres) convened.
The event drew delegations from across the country and abroad, including Kenya, Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the United States—reflecting the Faith’s growing global footprint.
Addressing the congregation, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, the Founder and spiritual leader of the Faith of Unity, reaffirmed the movement’s unwavering support for President Museveni and the NRM government.

He noted that the President has consistently backed the Faith during critical periods, a contribution he said has enabled it to expand and strengthen its influence.
Owobusobozi Bisaka highlighted the importance of unity and hard work, urging believers to remain committed to safeguarding the progress made under the current leadership.
He encouraged followers to actively participate in the forthcoming elections and vote for President Museveni to ensure continuity and stability.

The mobilisation launch was attended by several political figures, including Major Gen Silver Kayomba, who heads the Religion and Culture docket.
In his remarks, Maj Gen Kayomba praised Owobusobozi Bisaka for championing government programmes and motivating believers to embrace development initiatives such as small-scale industries and income-generating projects.
He noted that these efforts have improved livelihoods and contributed to wealth creation within the Faith of Unity community.

The event marked the official commencement of the Faith of Unity’s structured mobilisation drive for the 2026 presidential race.
Activities are expected to intensify across all intambiro in the coming months as the Faith engages its followers nationwide.
