The air is buzzing with excitement as preparations for the Bazzukulu Sports Gala (Soccer) continue in full swing.

Happening this Friday, 13th December 2024, at the MTN Omondi Stadium (KCCA Grounds), Lugogo, this much-anticipated event is set to unite Bazzukulu (Grandchildren of H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni community for a day filled with sports, entertainment, and celebration.

Organizers, led by Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Chief Muzzukulu, and Mr. Seth Murari, the National Sports Coordinator at the Office of the National Chairman, have confirmed that all preparations are complete.

“Despite baseless propaganda attempting to discredit the event, we want to assure everyone that the gala is happening as planned,’ said Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, the Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, also head Office of the National Chairman.

Under the theme “Maintaining healthy bodies for a better living while identifying, grooming, and developing talents,” the sports gala will feature thrilling soccer matches.

We’ve learnt that teams from various communities will showcase their skills, compete for glory, and inspire the next generation of sports talent.

“This event is more than a soccer competition—it’s a celebration of health, community spirit, and excellence. With partners like KCCA, Salaam Bank, Ntale Ointment Ltd, Smart Money and many on board, the event’s success is guaranteed,” she added.

Entertainment Extravaganza

Adding to the excitement, the gala will feature a star-studded entertainment lineup led by Uganda’s music legend Dr. Jose Chameleone. Known for his electrifying performances, Chameleone is set to light up the stage alongside other talented artists, making the gala a perfect blend of sports and music.

Mr. Moses Kintu, the Public Relations Officer — Office of the National Chairman, said that attendees can look forward to an energetic and thrilling show that will have everyone dancing and singing along.

He added that the entertainment segment aims to bring people together, celebrating unity and the vibrancy of the Bazzukulu community through music and cultural expression.

Mr. Seth Murari urges everyone to disregard false rumors and show up in big numbers this Friday.

He said the gala is a chance to connect, cheer on favorite teams, and enjoy top-notch entertainment in the company of fellow Bazzukulu.
