The Political Assistant and Head at Office of the National Chairman – ONC Kyambogo, SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye on Saturday urged women in the Muslim faith to embrace distinct lives and keep pure as they go about their lives.
Hajjat Namyalo said in her speech to the Muslim women at Hijab Nation, an annual Hijab Nation event that aims to promote the significance of the hijab and modesty as a way of living.
In her address at the Millennium Grounds Lugogo, the ONC boss encouraged the women to lead lives of distinction by embracing their value and striving for higher aims.
“Your value as a woman comes when you learn to aim higher, respect yourself, and not give in to those seeking to bring you down,” she emphasized, urging the attendees to hold on to their self-respect and dignity in the face of societal pressures.
