The South Africa NRM Chapter is set to host its 6th annual symposium on September 27-28, 2024, in Johannesburg.
This event will bring together Ugandans and supporters from nine provinces across South Africa to discuss and celebrate the progress and achievements of Uganda under the leadership of President Yoweri Museveni.
The symposium will focus on socio-economic transformation, trade, and investment opportunities on the African continent, with a theme centred on “Social Economic Transformation; Navigating Through Trade & Investment on the African Continent.”
The symposium will feature prominent speakers, including H.E. President Museveni, who is the NRM National Chairman, as well as ANC Secretary General Hon. Fikile Mbalula, ANC Treasurer General Dr. Gwen Ramokgopa, and NRM Secretary General Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong.
The event underscores the continued commitment of the South Africa NRM Chapter to advancing the interests of Ugandans in the diaspora, promoting cultural ties, and fostering economic partnerships between Uganda and South Africa.
This annual gathering has become a significant platform for dialogue and collaboration, aiming to strengthen ties between the two nations and enhance opportunities for Ugandans living in South Africa.
The symposium will also serve as a forum for discussing the broader role of Uganda in the African economy, particularly in terms of trade and investment.
