Manchester United have announced that defender Will Fish has left Old Trafford to join the English club, Cardiff City on a permanent transfer.

The Red Devils disclosed this in a statement on their website on Friday night.

This is coming ahead of Man United‘s Premier League tie with Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

“Will Fish has completed a permanent move from Manchester United to Championship side Cardiff City.

“We wish you all the best with your next steps, Will,” Man United’s statement read.

Fish made his senior debut in the 2020/2021 campaign as a late substitute against Wolves.

The 21-year-old had loan spells at Stockport County and Hibernia in the past.
