City businessman and renowned entrepreneur Hamis Kiggundu has graduated with a Professional Doctorate in Global Leadership and Management from the European International University (EIU) in Paris, France.

This achievement was celebrated at the 11th International Excellence and Global Leadership Awards held on June 29, 2024, at Atlantis, The Palm in Dubai, UAE.

Kiggundu, now Dr. Kiggundu, was honoured for his exemplary contributions to business and leadership. The award was presented by Krishnan Edward Roy, the Director General of the event, recognizing Kiggundu’s dedication to advancing global leadership standards.

The ceremony highlighted Dr. Kiggundu’s role as a prominent figure in Uganda’s business community, where he has made significant strides in various sectors, including real estate and commerce.

His new qualification further cements his reputation as a leader with a vision for both business and community development.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Kiggundu emphasized the importance of education and continuous learning as pillars of leadership.

He expressed his commitment to using his knowledge and experience to contribute to sustainable growth and development in Uganda and beyond.

The International Excellence and Global Leadership Awards celebrate outstanding achievements across various fields, and Dr. Kiggundu’s recognition underscores his influence as a businessman and leader.

About Dr. Hamis Kiggundu

Hamis Kiggundu (born 1984), commonly known as Ham, is a Ugandan businessman, lawyer and author. He is the CEO of the Ham Group of Companies and has written two books Success and Failure Based on Reason and Reality (2018) and Reason as the World Masterpiece (2021). As of 2024, Kiggundu is among the richest Ugandans by net worth.

As he returns to Uganda, he brings with him a wealth of knowledge and a renewed commitment to fostering positive change in the region.
