In a bid to uplift the aspirations of the youth in Golo Parish, Nkozi Sub-county, Mpigi District, Mr Sulaiman Kaweesi, the Office of the National Chairman Coordinator for Greater Mpigi, has taken proactive measures by extending financial support to a youth cooperative group in the area.
The event, which occurred on March 17, underscores the dedication of the Office of the National Chairman Coordinator to invest in the potential and future prosperity of young individuals within the Greater Mpigi region.
A sum of UGX 2 million was provided to empower the youth and catalyze their socio-economic advancement.
Mr Kaweesi says that by providing financial assistance, the aim is to enable youth to pursue their entrepreneurial endeavours, educational aspirations, or other projects that contribute to personal and community growth.
“The significance of this support cannot be overstated, as it catalyzes positive change within Nkozi Sub-county. Empowering youth with resources and opportunities not only unlocks their potential but also fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility towards their development and that of their community,” he said.
Mr. Kaweesi extended his gratitude to the Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Head of the Office of the National Chairman, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, for her invaluable support in executing the assignment.
He emphasized the importance of active participation in the NRM registration process, urging all residents to update their details ahead of the 2026 elections.
Furthermore, Mr. Kaweesi called upon residents to pledge their support by casting their votes for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and all NRM flag bearers when the time comes in 2026.
