The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Coordinator, Mr. Ronald Katabazi, has taken proactive steps by initiating a thorough monitoring mission of village registrars.
Despite facing numerous challenges in Kifampa Sub-county, including prevalent animal diseases plaguing the locals, a remarkable turnout marked the day.
The community’s optimism especially youth shone through amidst adversities, as they believe that voting Jajja (President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni) back into power will address most, if not all, of their existing challenges. This sentiment underscores the deep-seated faith and trust they hold in their leadership.
Mr Katabaazi took the opportunity to offer guidance and encouragement to the registrars and the youth who turned up for the update and registration exercise.
He emphasized the importance of maintaining integrity and discipline throughout the registration exercise, cautioning against any hint of corruption.
“As the registration process unfolds in Kifampa sub-county and beyond, it serves as a testament to the enduring spirit of democracy and civic engagement within the Gomba district. Through their active participation, residents demonstrate their commitment to shaping the future of their communities and country,” Katabazi said.
