ONC District Coordinator Leads NRM Registration Preparations in Butambala

Mr. Rashid Mwanje, the ONC District Coordinator for Butambala (Greater Mpigi), has participated in a pivotal stakeholder meeting ahead of the countrywide updating and registering of NRM members.

Representing SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, Mr Mwanje joined other key leaders in the discussion, emphasizing the importance of enhancing the party’s membership database.

Held in Bulo Sub-county, the meeting was attended by various NRM leaders led by Butambala District Registrar, Mr. Kizito Isaac Bijodolo, the Bulo LC3 Chairman, Hajji Sulaiman Lubyogo, the Bude sub-county registrar, Sulait Ssenyonjo plus all Parish and village registrars of Bulo sub-county.

The session was aimed to facilitate the distribution of NRM register update materials across sub-county, parish, and village levels in Butambala.

During the meeting, Mr. Kizito conveyed gratitude to the Office of the National Chairman, particularly SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, for their remarkable efforts in mobilizing Ugandans.

He lauded Hajjat Namyalo for rejuvenating NRM’s standing, particularly in key regions such as the Capital, Kampala, Greater Buganda, and Busoga.

Additionally, he commended her for empowering youth and fostering community development while championing President Yoweri Museveni’s economic initiatives under the National Resistance Movement (NRM).

Addressing the attendees, Mr. Rashid Mwanje emphasized the importance of robust mobilization efforts and urged party members to exhibit discipline during the upcoming registration exercise.

The registrars from the village level expressed their appreciation to the NRM national chairman, SPA Namyalo, and the secretariat for efficiently providing their facilitation on time.

Scheduled to run from Wednesday, March 13, 2023, to Sunday, March 17, the exercise holds significant importance for the party’s organizational structure and outreach efforts.
