According to Skytrax, an internationally recognized organization that assesses airlines worldwide, African airlines have shown commendable performance. This is a testament to their resilience and ability to reinvent themselves in a competitive industry.
Branded as the passenger’s choice award, the 2022-2023 survey included assessments of more than 325 airlines and involved participation from over 100 nationalities of customers from September 2022 to May 2023.
For the survey, participants nominate their favoured airline or the one they consider the best, offering ratings that reflect their satisfaction with numerous facets of the travel experience both at the airport and onboard.

Air Seychelles, the flag carrier of Seychelles, was established in 1978. Presently, the airline is 40% owned by Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates.
