President of Sao Tome and Principe Visits Uganda for Bilateral Talks

The President of Sao Tome and Principe, Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, is currently on a two-day working visit to Uganda at the invitation of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

President Carlos Manuel arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 2:00 am on Thursday. He was received by the Director General of External Security Organization (ESO), Ambassador Joseph Ocwet, and Air Force Commandant, Lt. Gen. Charles Okidi.

During his visit, President Carlos Manuel is expected to engage in bilateral talks with President Museveni. The details and agenda of these discussions have not been disclosed at this time.

The visit signifies the strengthening of diplomatic relations between Uganda and Sao Tome and Principe
