“As you wait to benefit from other government development programs such as Parish Development Model (PDM) and Emyooga, H.E. the President has decided to first support you directly. He wants to break that vicious cycle of poverty among our families,” she noted.

Ms Kabibi further urged the vendors to fight the immoral acts that are eating up families and also encouraged them to groom their children into responsible citizens who will be able to add a brick to the development of the country.

“I also want to thank the State House Comptroller, Ms. Jane Barekye and the Senior Presidential Advisor In-charge of Political Mobilisation, Mr. Moses Byaruhanga for being the connecting bridge between the President and the local people,” she added.

Mr. Muhammad Jjogo, the Chairperson of Bombo Mile 20 Market expressed his sincere gratitude towards the President for extending a direct helping hand to them as ordinary Ugandans.
