As part of strengthening the National Resistance Movement’s roots ahead of the upcoming Local Council One (LC1) and women’s council elections, the Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs (SPA/PA) also head Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has launched a mega village-to-village mobilization campaign.
The Village to Village campaign was launched on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the ONC offices in Kyambogo, Kampala. It aims to promote community development in government programs and spread the gospel of self-empowerment at the grassroots level.

During the launch, the ONC head highlighted the village-based approach of the mobilization campaign to achieve the goals set in the NRM Manifesto 2021-2026. She urged the youths to engage in the upcoming LC1 elections to get directly involved in government programs as well as secure what belongs to them, as well as lobby empowerment items from the ONC.
“The NRM Electoral Commission is soon unveiling the roadmap for the party primaries, and I want to ask you all to participate in the elections without fear, no one should stop you,” Ms Namyalo urged the cheering youths.
Namyalo, the Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs (SPA/PA), has emphasized President Museveni’s dedication to resolving the ongoing issue of land-grabbing in the country.
“There are mafias who use military capes and others who use guns to intimidate people by claiming they are from State House. They employ this language to forcefully take people’s land. I want to make it clear that I, Namyalo, am resolute and will not be deterred in my fight against these mafias. I am aware that some of them are armed, but I am prepared to face any threats. I will not tolerate their actions which breed hatred towards our government,” she said.
She said these land grabbers employ long-serving LC Chairpersons to exert their influence and collude with them in order to unlawfully seize people’s land.
“We have long-serving LC1 chairpersons who use their positions to influence and connive with land grabbers to steal your land resulting in the loss of support for the NRM in the Buganda Region, Ghettos, Busoga, and various other parts of the country. Therefore, the only to get rid of them is by standing against them in the coming village LC elections,” she added.

Speaking for the first time following the landmark ruling of the ‘TovaKuMain2026’ slogan, Hajjat Namyalo said her office successfully objected to Frank Gashumba’s attempt to fraudulently claim ownership of the slogan. She further exposed how the faded socialite signed over shs500m, but still with his greed, still wanted more.
On the ‘TovaKuMain2026’ slogan ruling, Namyalo revealed that her office had effectively objected to Frank Gashumba’s fraudulent claim of ownership over the slogan. Namyalo also exposed how Gashumba, despite already receiving Over UGX500 million, still displayed his greed by demanding more.
“I am pleased that we were successful in defeating Gashumba and his group during our encounter at URSB. Currently, my hope is that they proceed with an appeal. I am fully prepared to exhaust their limited financial resources. Once I have collected the money, I will bring it to you, my loyal bazzukulu, so that you may utilize it to establish new businesses,” she said.

The function was also attended by among others, Sheikh Sulaiman Guggwa, Uganda’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, who expressed his gratitude to Hajjat Namyalo for her commendable efforts in fostering unity and solidarity within the NRM party.
He asserted that he is behind ONC’s campaign of TovaKuMain and confidently confirmed that President Museveni will be making a comeback in 2026.
