In a dramatic twist to the ongoing power struggle within the FDC establishment, the legitimate Secretary General Hon Nandala Mafabi has issued an ominous warning to Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and the entire Katonga road team, cautioning them to sign wills ahead of the impending battle for control of the party’s top offices.

Lukwago who subscribes to the warring faction at Katonga Road was elected the interim FDC president and has since threatened to move to Najjanankumbi to capture the party instruments of power.

The recognized faction of the FDC led by Patrick Amuriat is currently holed up in a delegates conference to elect new party leaders including party president, secretary general and National Executive Committee (NEC) members.

From Lugogo where the Delegates Conference is taking place on Friday, Mafabi who is accused of pocketing billions of cash from the State, warned Lukwago and his loyalists to sign their will as they attempt to move to occupy FDC offices.
“Tell Lukwago to sign his will. No one is going to play with FDC. Let him be at the forefront so that he faces me and he will know who truly I am,” Mafabi said.

The rivalry between Najjanankumbi and Katonga has reached a boiling point as both leaders vie for influential positions within the party. The upcoming showdown has left party members and political observers on edge, with tensions running high.
