Manchester United Football Club is based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club was found in Newton Heath in 1878, initially known as Newton Heath LYR F.C. They played their first competitive match in October 1886 in the first round of the 1886/87 FA Cup. The club was renamed Manchester United in 1902 and moved to Old Trafford in 1910.

A difficult October sees Man United also take on Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and West Ham United, while they will face Fulham and Nottingham Forest either side of the break for the 2022 World Cup.
The second Manchester derby of the season will see Manchester City visit Old Trafford on January 14, while the Red Devils will head to Anfield to take on Liverpool at the start of March.
